remember when....

Best "self-help" book ever! Pays off in win-win results. The book would have benefited from one more round of editing to eliminate some very minor but irritating clerical errors, however this did not detract from its value enough to cause me to reduce its rating from five stars.

A Must Read for all Haitian-AmericansAlthough this book was sad in many respects, I really enjoyed reading it as it really opened my eyes to abuses in Haiti I had no idea existed. The author also spends time dealing with his experience with "black America" and how as a haiitan man he had difficulties in relating to the black experience/culture of the U.S, and the inherent racisim that comes with the skin color from whites, and the prejuduice that comes from blacks.
GOOD READ!

Resurrection of a MasterpieceI purchased this book when it originally came out and it has been a fav of mine for years. When I met Mr. Anderson and his wife a few years back, I presented me copy for him to sign, and he was in shock. He hadn't seen a copy in many years and was pleased to see his older works still in circulation.
I can't say enough good things about Resurrection Inc. You won't go wrong with this book! A great addition to any collector's library!

A fun story about independant gals ready for the "real"world

The River and IYoung Neihardt views the Missouri River in flood: ".... This cruel, invulnerable, restless giant.... This yellow, sinous beast with hell broth slavering from its jaws!... This dare-devil boy-god that sauntered along with a town in its pocket, and a steepled church under its arm for a moment's toy."
